Coverage
Eufabric decodes EU legislation into data. Each act is read provision by provision into individual measures: obligations, prohibitions, incentives, and rights, every one carrying the verbatim source text and a link to the official version. Measures are mapped to sectors in two ways: sectors an act names directly, and sectors it reaches through supply chains, regulatory dependencies, or procurement channels, with supply-chain reach computed from Eurostat input-output data. The measures are then aggregated per sector, so each sector page shows its full position across all legislation on the platform: what binds it directly, what reaches it indirectly, and through which channel. The platform currently holds 480 measures from 7 legislative acts across 20 sectors, and it grows as new legislation is adopted. Every act's verification status is stated on the coverage page. The platform does not cover national implementing measures or guidance documents, and nothing on this site is legal advice.
Eufabric launches narrow: Europe's energy-intensive industries and the materials they make. Six are covered at launch — cement, steel, chemicals (organic chemicals and plastics), batteries, hydrogen production including ammonia, and circular materials, meaning the recovery industry that turns used material back into feedstock. Semiconductors, automotive and defence are out of scope for launch. They are a different genre: nothing at their centre carries a carbon cost, and what they need built is capability rather than cleaner ways of making the same thing. Electricity and grids are not one of the six either. Power prices and grid connection decide what happens in all of them, so they are stated on each industry's own page rather than given a heading of their own. Every other sector listed on this page is one the legislation reaches without being one of the six.

The packaging regulation's classifications are from a preliminary reading and have not yet been independently confirmed.
Weight intensity is recorded on Omnibus I (14 of 35 measures) only, and none of those measures names a sector — so no sector-level view of weight is possible, and sector pages show the net position without one. The coarser categorical weight field is present on Omnibus I (35 of 35 measures), Packaging and Packaging Waste Regulation (89 of 89 measures); it stays on the individual measures and is not aggregated on any summary surface.

Permanence
Measure ids do not change
A measure id, and the address built from it (/measures/<act>/<id>), is permanent. A measure whose classification changes keeps its id, and the change is recorded on the measure itself; any future change to an id or a URL shape ships with a redirect from the old address. Each release is archived in full — every measure and every fetched source version — under a dated snapshot that is never overwritten, so a citation made today stays checkable against exactly what was published today. Every measure page carries a “cite this measure” block with its permanent address.
