Households (including those in energy poverty) purchasing eligible net-zero technologies (e.g. battery storage, solar PV, heat pumps) under a support scheme can receive additional financial compensation of up to 15% of the product's cost -- up to 20% for households in energy poverty -- provided the product meets the Union-origin requirements.
Households receiving support for net-zero technology purchases, including those in energy poverty are offered support, and this is not law yet.

3. When additional financial compensation is granted, it shall not exceed 15% of the cost of the final product for the consumer, including transport and installation costs where relevant, with the exception of schemes targeting citizens living in energy poverty, as defined in Article 2, point (1), of Regulation (EU) 2023/955 of the European Parliament and of the Council (57), for which the limit shall be 20 %.
