The Commission is empowered to adopt delegated acts in accordance with Article 30 to supplement this Regulation by laying down Union-level demand-side measures for products from the chemical industry in order to promote the following activities: (a) the production and sales of substances and mixtures of Union origin derived from sustainable carbon sources; (b) the use in products made available on the market of substances and mixtures of Union origin derived from sustainable carbon sources.
